Aquarium shelving

This is the shelving I'm using for my aquariums. It's just out in the garage, so you have to be fine with kind of an industrial look. The shelf: - REIBII 5 tier steel boltless shelving, 36" wide x 16" deep x 72" tall - Rated 480 lb per shelf, evenly distributed The stock shelves are thin 5mm MDF boards. That's fine for smaller tanks, but a 20 gallon long sitting on one will make it sag over time. So I put a layer of 11/32" CDX plywood from Home Depot on top of each one. One 4x8 sheet is about $24 and makes 6 shelf boards at 36" x 16". Not every Home Depot will cut to an exact spec. The guy who cut mine was nice, but he was complaining about it, which I totally get. Luckily two of them came out perfect, and I adjusted the other a little. If I ever need to use the rest, I can just trim them with a jigsaw.
